Are you seeking a greater sense of purpose in your life? Have you had a fulfilling career and want to use your experience, knowledge and skills in a different context? Do you enjoy your current work but feel something is missing? Do you want to move into the not-for-profit sector but aren’t sure how to make it happen?

Even though you are drawn to the idea of working in the sector if you are unfamiliar with it, making the change and taking on a new commitment is a step into the unknown. You will have all sorts of questions such as:

  • What is it really like?
  • What kind of opportunities are there?
  • How is it different and how is it like the corporate world?
  • What are they looking for and would they want me?
  • How would I make the finances work?
  • How can I make a mid-career shift?

For over ten years now the Eastside Primetimers Foundation has been helping people make a positive change in their lives and make a difference in the world through working in the not-for-profit sector whether that’s in a paid role, as a volunteer, a Board member or through working on a specific project as a paid consultant or on a pro bono basis.

Based on our experience and connections, we can give you a straight-talking view of the sector, what it has to offer you, how you would benefit, how to get involved, and how to get yourself ready.

Our next ‘Introduction to the not-for-profit sector’ event is:

Tuesday 12th November 2019, 5pm – 6.30pm

CAN Mezzanine, 49-51 East Road, London N1 6AH
